May Gibson
They are supported by Development Producer May Gibson, who has worked as a producer and script editor on many television drama, comedy, and children’s programmes for the UK and international market. Most recently, she was Development Producer on WOLFBLOOD, a new drama series for CBBC and the final series of BBC drama WAKING THE DEAD. Prior to this, May produced 30 episodes of the CBBC comedy-drama series, LIVING IT, which she co-created with award-winning New Zealand-based writer Gavin Strawhan.
As the UK Drama Development Executive at Fremantle Media/Talkback Thames, her credits there included PROMOTED TO GLORY, THE LAW and THE BILL spin-off series, BEECH IS BACK. Her credits as a script editor include such award-winning comedy series as Mark Haddon’s MICROSOAP! and Tim Firth’s PRESTON FRONT.
May is currently working on a new 10-part drama series for the BBC with lead writer, Adrian Hodges. Her passion with all her projects is to tell moving, strong, characterful stories.
